Special issue: A post-summer double publish
Pablo Somonte Ruano

Moi kaverit,

And as we say these days in Finland, onko ollut mukava kesä? That is, we caringly hope that y’all have had a lovely summer with sunny skies and some fresh breeze around your noses. Since some of you will still be leaning back and others forward, we thought to give you a still lighter taste with some things to dive into.

ECSA investment FAQ

As premarked in the last issue, we’ve been putting together a collection of key thoughts and perspectives behind the economic space agency proposition. We’ve done this to lay down our main lines of thought in an easy-to-approach stepped fashion, while breadcrumbing them with views on present economic conditions that have informed them. We expect and hope these thoughts to evolve not just along our work but in exchange with you. So, welcome, and happy to hear your takes and views, e.g. on Telegram.

New website

Equally rich a well of conceptual otherness – surely for those of you who delight in deep aesthetics – is our new website, which herewith we proudly declare public.

Far beyond an exercise in brand code uniformity, the new site’s organization and look stem from a protocol-level intervention that centers multi-agent contribution. In this way, it reflects a central part of how we work at/through/with ECSA – a framework for a network, a co-collection of perspectives from different grounds. Consistency then depends not on formal homogeneity but evolving co-persistence, as per the site’s constructor, Pablo Somonte Ruano:

What is the actual appearance of interoperability among autonomous groups? It looks like a diversity of systems co-inhabiting the same contexts. The way different visual cultures come to us through our phones, the way operating systems host diverse applications with different behaviors, the way posters stack up around a light post. ECSA’s visual protocol is inspired by these meta-systems.

We hope you will enjoy this composite experience when you explore the site as much as when working with us.

We will be back again soon with more opening news. Until then, as always feel free to send a mail, join our Telegram, or meet us on our new Bluesky (or on X).

Happy to see you,

ECSA
